1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 – M-Code 351W (4V) – FMX Automatic – Factory-Built December 10, 1968

 

This Mach 1 is a very solid and well-preserved example of Ford’s iconic 1969 fastback, equipped with its correct M-code 351 Windsor 4-barrel engine rated at 290 hp, paired with the FMX automatic transmission and 9-inch rear axle. Built on December 10, 1968 at the Dearborn Assembly Plant, it left the factory with a desirable list of options, including:

 

Power disc brakes

Power steering

Center console

SportsDeck folding rear seat

Tinted glass

 

 

The car remains super clean underneath, with solid original floors and a tidy, well-kept appearance throughout. The interior is largely original and in very nice condition; only the driver’s seat shows a small tear, consistent with age.

 

The paint is an older 30-year-old respray, still presentable but showing some age-related imperfections. It’s a car you can comfortably enjoy and drive as-is, or an excellent candidate for a fresh repaint if you aim for show-quality presentation.
