The Shelby Mustang is a high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965 to 1967, and from 1968 to 1970 by Ford. All the Mustangs destined for Shelby conversion were produced at Ford's Metuchen assembly plant in New Jersey and shipped to the A.O. Smith Company facility in Ionia, Michigan to have the Shelby components added.
This GT500 Shelby is build with a 4-speed manual Cobra Jet V8 engine which where based on their super fast "Police Interceptor" cars. To restrain this red powerhouse while driving it comes with Power brakes and Power steering. The Candy Apple red exterior contains Rocker paint stripes and Cobra side emblems, Foglights, GT wheels, Double exhaust and Red taillights.
This Fastback GT500 has a saddle deluxe interior with woodgrain finish. It contains bucket seats with Shelby specific roll bar seatbelts and comfy sport deck rear seats amongst other GT options like a center console and radio.
As you will probably know and with around 1.140 build these Shelby's are pretty rare nowadays. This Fastback is still in very good condition. Strap yourself in and go wild!
