This Eleanor is truly an amazing example. The fit & finish are quite nice and the Nebula Gray paint was laid down beautifully.
Inside the interior was completely replaced with new seat upholstery, carpet, door panels, gauges, dash panels, 1 piece headliner, etc.
Under the hood the BluePrint Engines 347 is the 415 Horsepower/415 Torque long block model. It was topped off with an Edelbrock Pro Flow Fuel Injection system for excellent reliability and performance. With ceramic coated long tube headers and stainless steel exhaust this Mustang has a nice, deep note to the idle. Under hard throttle it sounds intoxicating. The dyno sheets for the car are included. On the chassis dyno it made 339hp and 347ft-lbs torque at the rear wheels.
The 5 speed transmission is a brand new Tremec TKO with a hydraulic clutch conversion. This mustang shifts & behaves like a modern car.
The suspension was replaced with new components from Ride-Tech. The system is adjustable for your desired comfort and performance. The rear springs are a composite so they are extremely light & responsive. They weigh only 7lbs each compared to nearly 35lbs each for a 5 leaf spring. They also do not transmit the metallic shock so typical of metal springs. If you have never ridden in a car with composites, it will change your mind about leaf springs.
The brakes have been upgraded to Wilwood at all 4 corners. With the valving of the Wilwood master cylinder they brake easily and haul the car down from speed with extreme confidence.
The wheels are 17" American Racing units. The tires are 225/45's in front and 245/45's in the rear.
The wiring system has been completely replaced with a modern harness to safely handle the fuel injection and added Eleanor lighting system.
