This Mach 1 was delivered to Canyon City Colorado where it has lived until coming to the West Coast in 2018. As such it has escaped the ravages of salt and rust leaving this Mach 1 with some of the cleanest original panels found in a classic Mustang. The paint is older but presents very nicely. Panel alignment is excellent as well.
The interior is very impressive with proper fitting upholstery, fresh door panels, un-cracked dash pad and door panels. White interior is a rare option in '70 but is one of the most luxurious & tasteful interiors of the era.
Mechanically this Mach 1 has been upgraded with a larger camshaft, electronic ignition and free flowing exhaust headers. The factory style 4 barrel cylinder heads are in place as is the factory intake manifold. The engine fires up easily and runs excellent. With a very mild tune on pump gas, power at the rear tires was 311 horsepower and 383 ft-lb of torque. The Tremec 5-Speed has very low miles and works beautifully.
The wheels have been upgraded to 17" x 7" front and 17" x 8" rear Magnum 500's with 235 45 front tires and 255 45 rears.
The wiring system has been professionally replaced with a Painless Wiring kit. Receipt documentation of the work is included.
