This Mustang was sold new in Casper, Wyoming. It stayed in the Wyoming area with its original owner until 2017. Wyoming is one of the driest areas of the US and cars survive very well there.
The body is still original with the exception of the drivers front floor pan which was replaced with a quality reproduction unit.
The paint really sets this car apart. The finish is nice with a deep shine on straight panels. The rear tail light panel has been fitted with a rare & desirable finned aluminum trim panel.
1967 Mustangs have an incredibly nice interior with the 'Decor' trim. This interior has fresh deluxe upholstery with comfort weave inserts. The dash & door panels were all replaced as well. The brushed aluminum trim is bright and impressive.
The engine is reported to be the original engine that was rebuilt and topped off with the Edelbrock Performer RPM power package package. There are very few miles on the engine since its rebuild. The engine has a very aggressive idle and thanks to the long-tube headers and large exhaust the car sounds tremendous and a bit intimidating. There is no question that this car is not your average Mustang.
The transmission is also reported to be the original and works nicely. The shifter was upgraded to a Hurst Competition Plus unit for precise shifts every time, unlike the clunky original.
This car was also optioned with the 3.25 Ratio Limited Slip 9" differential.
Braking has been upgraded to a full 4-Wheel Power Brake system. Stopping is quick and precise.
